City Traders Imperium Program Overview
City Traders Imperium is a forex prop company that focuses on trader development. The firm is based in London and was founded in 2018 by Martin Najat and Daniel Martin, former head traders. Its co-founders founded CTI after they were frustrated with the way other U.K. prop companies conducted business. But, according to them, they didn't want to sell traders a pipe dream.

How do you become a funded trader with CTI?
City Traders Imperium funding is easy and flexible. While many prop companies have a two-step process for funding, CTI allows you to prove your worth within a 1-year time frame.
This proprietary trading company offers a 50% profit split at the gate. Many accounts are available, and each is broken down into several categories. For example, there are two types of Classic Funding accounts: Standard Funding accounts. The Classic Account has more flexible rules.
Evaluation Funded account vs. Direct Funded account
You must select between Direct Funded and Evaluation accounts when you sign up for a City Traders Imperium funded account.
The Evaluation account is for less experienced traders and cost less out of the two. Traders must pass an evaluation period to prove their ability to meet the profit target and not violate the maximum drawdown rules.
On the other hand, the
Direct Funded accounts cut through the bureaucracy and allow you to start trading as a portfolio manager. You will need to feel confident about your trading skills if you plan to sign up for these accounts.
City Traders Imperium Steps to Get Funded
Step 1: Choose Your Funding Account
When applying for funding from a prop company, you have two options: Standard Funding Accounts and Classic Funding Accounts. In addition, you can choose between Direct Funding and Evaluation within each account, along with the amount of capital.
Phase 2: Evaluation Phase
The City Traders Imperium Evaluation is a proving ground that evaluates your ability as a prop trader. If you have a Direct Funding Account, you can skip the Evaluation, but this might not be an option for novice traders as you will need to put up more cash.
Funding Evaluation:
- 12-month evaluation period
- Target profit of 7%
- Maximum loss: 5% relative drawdown
Standard Funding Evaluation:
- 6-month evaluation period
- Target profit of 9%
- Maximum loss: 5% absolute drawdown
Step 3 - Use Funded Trade Accounts
You can apply for City Trader's Funded Trader program after passing the Evaluation. With a 10% target, you can increase your account and start trading capital. You could manage up to $4,000,000. Trading through the prop company is risk-free because you don't have to lose your own money.
After passing the Evaluation phase, your account will be fully funded and 400% larger. You will not be held responsible for any losses.
After becoming portfolio managers, Funder Trader offers scale plans with a higher absolute drawdown and an optional 6% drawdown to Evaluation traders.
The City Traders Imperium rules can be quite flexible, which is great news for traders who want to profit with fewer restrictions.
What happens if I fail to trade within CTI's rules?
You will lose your account if you don't follow the rules. CTI offers discounts, such as cashback, for retries.
- If you have failed the previous Evaluation under the same funding program, get a 5% discount on your next Classic or Standard Evaluation.
- If you have failed to complete the Direct Funding Account, receive a 10% discount on your next Classic Evaluation purchase.
While some forex-funded trader programs offer a free retry (if certain criteria are met), they often have more complex evaluations.

City Traders Imperium boasts one of the highest profit splits that we have ever seen in a prop company. It's possible to make up to 100% depending on your success in prop trading. The highest we have seen was 90% up until now, which is already quite impressive. The spread will be determined by how large your account is.

Anything over 70% is considered high in industry standards, and 100% is nearly unheard of.
Trading Courses
A free course is included with the Funder Trader program at City Traders Imperium. This course is intended to assist traders in improving their chances of success and transition to portfolio managers who trade capital frequently. It offers trading education, financial insight, and a way to manage your risk. CTI offers a comprehensive range of courses to help you gain more insight. However, they do charge an upfront fee.

Who can get a CTI-Funded Account?
Prop trading platform allows traders who have demonstrated their ability to make a profit and pass the CTI Challenge to access fully-funded accounts. City Traders Imperium allows professional, retail, day, or swing traders to trade.
City Traders Imperium Withdrawal
The stage at which you are in the funding process will determine how you can withdraw. If you are in the evaluation phase, withdrawals can be made as a refund. This will provide you with a lump sum equal to the 50/50 split profit after your passing.
You can request a payment once per month after the Evaluation phase. I will then issue you the payment and its share of the profit split. Payouts may take up to seven business days and can only be requested within the last five days.

You are not permitted to withdraw crypto-currency payments at this time. The firm explains that this is because of U.K. law. However, it claims that they are trying to find a solution.
City Traders Imperium Reputation
City Traders is a legitimate prop company with a reputation for producing successful traders. It's also a registered U.K. business. Customers have a good online reputation for the prop company. The customer support team can be reached via live chat, email, and social media channels.
CTI is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Accordingly, it does not engage in any regulated activities. This company is legitimate and can be trusted to act as a trading partner for those willing to trade regularly.

City Traders Imperium Cancellation Policy
CTI will reimburse the signup fee if a funded account is not traded. This can happen up to seven days after registration. After that, refunds can't be issued for accounts that have been traded.
This makes sense as one could easily claim a refund after a loss is made to their account, circumventing the entire Evaluation process. If you want to get a bigger funded account, you need to ensure your trading strategies are in top form.
